Genotypic data on M. tuberculosis Complex strains can be submitted to CPLP-TB along with phenotypic susceptibility data provided it pertains to clinical strains that have been isolated in a CPLP member state.

Presently, CPLP-TB harbors M. tuberculosis clinical isolates genotyped by MIRU-VNTR and or Spoligotyping (at least one of these is mandatory). Phenotypic susceptibility data is optional but highly encouraged to fully achieve the mission of CPLP-TB to track strains across the Lusophone space, particularly strains associated with drug resistance.
